Nippi Kochhar joined the Corporate Resources Division as SG GSC CEO at Bangalore, India in June 2009. His extensive international experiences have allowed him to live, work and manage large multi-cultural staffs in 10 countries and spread over the 5 continents. He is a Chartered Accountant.

Over the years, he has spent:

• 6 years in the National Commercial Bank in Saudi Arabia as Director (Systems Operations/ Trade and Cash Management Head), and then as Senior Vice President in the Holding (Strategic Planning and Financial Control).
• 12 years in Citibank N.A. as initially Vice President and Country Operations Management in several countries, and then Vice President (Director of Operations and Technology – Private Banking) based in Zurich in charge of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
• 6 years in ABN AMRO Bank as initially Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the International Private Client business based in Zurich, before becoming the Managing Director for Asia Pacific in Singapore.

He has developed knowledge in all areas of retail banking, commercial banking, private banking and asset management, and associated products and services. He has been an entrepreneurial leader with good insight to drive change.

He also has 10 years experience with the manufacturing industry at Uniliver Inc.
