SG GSC came into existence in 2000 as
SG Software Asia, an entity established to prove
the viability of offshoring from India. Starting with
just 10 employees, the first three years were a period
of learning, even as it began developing IT
applications for Group entities.
In the next couple of years, SG GSC evolved into a
centre capable of delivering both IT solutions as
well as Business & process consultancy, with an emphasis on
quality and cost saving for Societe Generale’s
varied financial activities.
With further diversification and enhanced
capability SG GSC has begun developing
solutions for entities across the Group and is
recognised for its knowledge and innovation.
